Mr. Frintage is all about finding characterful design pieces, particularly from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Frits personally selects each item, focusing on form, material, and the look that instantly transforms a space. His collection features lamps, furniture, and objects that are not only beautiful but also have a unique energy. And he's happy to go the extra mile in this endeavor, sourcing many unique pieces from Milan, Berlin, Lugano, Zagreb, and Antwerp, among others.

Mr. Frintage's style is recognizable: bold lines, warm materials, rich colors, and designs that stand out for their simplicity and quality. No reproductions or trend-driven items, but authentic and original vintage pieces that have stood the test of time. Each piece tells a story, and that story is reflected in the way Frits curates his shop and collection.

What started out of pure passion has grown into a permanent place for enthusiasts, collectors and interior professionals looking for truly special vintage lighting and design objects.

All works come from a personal friend and art dealer: Dert Nijland of Dert Nijland Fine Arts.
This guarantees you official editions, published with the permission of, for example, the Warhol Foundation or the Haring Estate.

Record players, amplifiers and speakers from big names like Marantz, Technics, Denon and Philips.

All equipment has been fully serviced and checked by a professional.

What are the benefits of your purchase from Mr. Frintage?

You can be sure that absolutely everything has been done here to restore each item to the best possible condition.

Here, items are cleaned, checked, renewed, and polished. I go to great lengths, literally and figuratively. Where my expertise ends, professional help is called in.

Many items in my exceptional collection come from afar. I personally travel for them, from Brussels to Milan, from Berlin to Zagreb. Nothing is too much trouble for Mr. Frintage to acquire exceptional and unique finds.

Should there be a small scratch or chip, it means the item is so rare that I accept it. This rarely happens, however. I do my utmost to find and restore everything to perfect condition.

But we are talking about original vintage items, often 40, 50, or even 60 years old. Small signs of age and use are sometimes part of that.

Moreover, with your purchase, you help reduce waste. All (polluting) production processes are, after all, decades behind us. Reuse is central here.

All lighting uses LED. Every lamp, large or small, is (made) LED-compatible. Sustainability is highly valued.
