Guzzini 'Bud Grande' and 'Bud Piccolo' pendant lamp (1970s)

These Buds are true vintage pieces, iconic pendant lights designed in 1968 by Studio 6G for Harvey Guzzini, a highly esteemed name in authentic design lighting. A typical example of Italian `Space Age` design from that period.

The lamps consist of two plastic shades: one large `cappuccino`-colored (newly polished!) plus a smaller milky white one. The smaller version has both shades in milky white. Beautiful chrome rings give this design its elegant look. The larger one hangs from a steel cable and is still height-adjustable (max 80 cm/31.50 inches), while the smaller one hangs from a fixed wire and can be hung at a maximum length of 125 cm (49.21 inches).

Both lamps are in very good condition with no cracks and/or repairs. Minor signs of age and use. Both work with an E27 fitting and are LED compatible.
