Meblo-Guzzini ALVISE table/floor lamp XXL (1960s)

Another magnificent example of brilliant design from the hands of Luigi Massoni (1930-2013). The Alvise was designed by Massoni for Harvey Guzzini in 1966. Manufactured by MEBLO (furniture maker in Nova Gorica in former Yugoslavia) in collaboration with Guzzini. Meblo collaborated with Guzzini in the 60s and 70s to make the renowned Italian design available in Eastern Europe. Some models were designed specifically and exclusively for their collaboration, including this magnificent Alvise, which are therefore called the much sought-after 'Meblo-Guzzinis'.

• Heavy, solid, and large chrome base, diameter 45 cm (17.71 inches)
• Acrylic shade, diameter 45 cm (17.71 inches)
• Total height 49 cm (19.29 inches). 

Wiring renewed with new switch and EU plug. Three E14 sockets, LED compatible. Condition very good, no cracks and/or repairs. Minor signs of age and use, but in seriously beautiful condition!
