Meblo-Guzzini Big Clan (1960s/1970s)

Highly sought-after and desirable floor or table lamp Big Clan, made in former Yugoslavia by MEBLO/GUZZINI (marked with original sticker). The renowned Italian company Guzzini entered into a collaboration with the Yugoslav/Slovenian furniture manufacturer MEBLO in the 1960s to make their design and lighting available in the former Eastern Bloc. This resulted in the now-called 'Meblo-Guzzinis', with several designs and certainly colour schemes made exclusively for that collaboration. This model, called Big Clan, was also manufactured in Italy but never in this red version. That makes this genuine 'Meblo-Guzzini' a seriously rare item, highly sought after by connoisseurs/enthusiasts. A true icon from that amazing Space Age period.

Large acrylic/plastic red sphere with an acrylic/plastic diffuser, loosely placed in or on a round plastic base.

• Base diameter 30 cm and height 15 cm
• Big Clan itself diameter 45 cm and total height depending on the position 40/50 cm.

Equipped with 1 E27 fitting and working with a cord switch. LED compatible. NO repairs and/or cracks, overall condition very good.
