Technics SL-1300 Turntable (1975-1979)

Technics SL-1300 turntable, manufactured by Matsushita Electric, which uses Technics as its brand name. Since 1971, they have been builders of renowned TOP quality Direct Drive turntables. Their fame has spread around the world for more than 50 years, with the iconic SL-1200 as their showpiece, which has earned their fame and status among professional DJs. This is its sibling with more features for the discerning 'home player' such as full-automatic operation, meaning very easy start/stop plus automatic shut-off, the latter being very pleasant for home use. Manual operation is also possible by means of the arm's lever, which is brought to the beginning of the record and starts the motor. Heavy turntable with excellent damping, and the Direct Drive system is truly phenomenal.
