Birillo Carlo Nason Mazzega Italy (1960s/70s)

Splendid and iconic large BIRILLO floor lamp attributed to and designed by Carlo Jason for Mazzega, Italy. This is yet another great example of the celebrated design and craftsmanship of the Italian masters of glassblowing.

The lamp is not marked but has all the characteristics of the aforementioned designer and manufacturer. Two mouth-blown parts combined with metal parts form this unique piece.

Equipped with lighting in both the base/column and the beautifully shaped shade, with 2 E27 fittings. Lighting can be switched on and off independently. LED compatible. The base plate is separate from the rest of the lamp.
